How to get started?

1. Download NFC Tools App

NFCTools

We recommend using the NFC Tools app to create your digital business card. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Enable NFC on Your Device

  • Go to your phone’s Settings.
  • Navigate to Connections or More Settings.
  • Turn on NFC (near-field communication).
  • Ensure your device supports NFC.

3. Read an NFC Tag

  • Open the NFC Tools app.
  • Tap on Read (located in the home screen of the app).
  • Bring your phone close to an NFC tag. The app will scan and display the data on the tag, if any.

Encoding Your Information Into The NFC Card

1. Write Data to an NFC Tag

  • Open the NFC Tools app.
  • Tap on Write.
  • Tap Add a Record to choose what type of data you want to write, such as:
    Text: Enter a message.
    URL/Link: Add a website link.
    Email: Save an email address.
    WiFi: Share WiFi credentials.
  • After adding the desired record(s), tap Write.
  • Place the NFC tag close to the back of your phone. The app will write the data to the tag.

2. Erase or Format an NFC Tag

  • Go to the Other tab in the NFC Tools app.
  • Select Erase Tag or Format Tag.
  • Place the NFC tag near the back of your phone. This will remove its current data.

Sharing Your Digital Business Card Using The Encoded NFC Card

1. Seamless Sharing

Tap your NFC card to the top of the receiver’s mobile device and it will read the card immediately.

2. One-click To View

On the receiver’s device, click on the Notification Bar to view the contact details.
